Well, I figured that it's about time that I catch up with everyone and start writing a blog. This is something that I have been thinking about starting for a little while now but never took the leap. I have been warned by my friend/teamate Shawn Haviland that this wont be as easy as I think it will be. I believe it will be a piece of cake. In saying that, the inspiration for this blog has come from reading his, which is located at www.ShawnHaviland.blogspot.com. It is very well done and has over 100 posts already. I will make it my goal to reach 100 posts with this blog.
For my first blog, I guess that it's standard to explain a little about myself. First of all, the blog is titled “On The Grind” because that is exactly how you would explain my life right now. I am currently playing minor league baseball for the Kane County Cougars. Kane County is the Low A affiliate for the Oakland Athletics. I am a right-handed pitcher that was selected in the 24th round of the 2008 first year player draft. For my whole life, my dream has been to play in the MLB, and I am currently On The Grind to reach that dream. This blog will be about my journey On The Grind.
